A little over a month in the new year I have come to some smart conclusions. I should focus on my college studies in class rather than study for the SAT / ACT again because at this point in time, those two are mere brownie points for college transfer students. Perhaps during the summer or off season I will give it a shot but for the now, my focus is on my 4 classes this semester. On that note, I have been doing well in class and so far, everything seems to be going in a positive direction.

I also concluded that I can make a lot more money with my photography instead of doing just art. I have taken the approach to stock photography a few days ago and after being rejected by 3 sites (lol, I think this will be harder than I thought it would. But hey, its a challenge and its good to learn new techniques even when your a surrealist

On the brighter side of life, I found an art curator who wishes to meet with me and see some of my surreal work in person. My task is now to create a profession "coffee-table" like hardcover album and present solely my surreal and abstract work to her. I hope this is a foot in the door because it isn't often your work goes into a gallery (at least for me).

I know I have settled down a little bit on the surreal work for now but I am going to try and work on my stock technique more for the next month or two. After that, I might return to an artists perspective and submit some more work with another technique. I have been wanting to do this style for a long time and frankly, its so easy that I cant believe I overlooked it all this time. An example of this technique can be seen in almost all popular surreal photographs. I am referring to the scratch and film dust on the photo's. and boast a beautiful variety of what I mean in their galleries.
